Idyllic Morning Rides // Swim, Bike, Run

Despite the fact that I froze this morning and I cut my bike ride short, everything about this morning was serene.

The trees are still green but you can see the first red leaves scattered on the trail. The sunrise was subtle this morning–the light was soft and everything was aglow. I stopped to take a picture of the water with my phone. The ride belied what I had in store for me today. The whirlwind made me appreciate the morning solitude that much more. Now if only I could get motivated to swim for my triathlon in, ahem, two weeks. I know who the weak link on that team is going to be…
