Halloween Bunting // Sewn

I rarely decorate for the holidays–any holiday. Bah humbug on me, I know. I’m not one to do elaborate decorations or preparations for birthday parties (hello, we went bowling for my son’s birthday and called it good. And had a great time. :) I decided  that this Halloween, I could make at least one simple decoration for my house. And hang it up.  Here it is! I actually love the fabric bunting, I’m not sure why I haven’t made one before. Each of the Halloween fabrics were “scrap” pieces I purchased for 10 cents each at one of the local quilt shops. I made the bias tape with kona cotton I already had. Easy peasy. My almost one year old even noticed it when she came downstairs Sunday morning. :)  Success.

Cute! I’m not much of a Halloween decorator either but I like what you’ve done!

Very cute! It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one who never decorates for holidays. I mean, of course, we have the Christmas tree but that’s about. Our only Halloween decoration is a lonely pumpkin candy dish that someone gave us once.

And congrats on Baby N.’s birthday! I am truly amazed at how fast time flies when you have kids! Wish our kids could play together – I’m sure Elijah would be enamoured with Baby N.
