All Voile Quilt // Work in Progress

IMG_37511.jpg

In July, my friend Tricia and I decided to make one of our favorite people in the whole world, Becky, a quilt for her birthday. Time went on, and Becky made a quilt for 100 Quilts for Christmas. Soon, I was getting emails saying she had bought a bit more fabric and had plans for another quilt. And perhaps a third. At that point, Trish and I decided we could spend hours together sewing a quilt for Becky, or we could spend hours WITH Becky, sewing. The latter seemed like a better idea. 73 blocks down, 75 to go. Ladies, we need to plan another sewing night! (Becky is into texture--thank you to Dana and Pam for giving me charms and small pieces of this lovely Anna Maria Horner Little Folks voile fabric, which is perfect. And thanks to fabric.com for having a fantastic sale on it during the winter holidays so I could get enough for the backing and the rest of the squares!) Have a great weekend, everyone. I hope to sleep. A lot. And maybe go running (which I haven't done all week).
