American Folk Art Museum: The Year of the Quilt

I’m headed to NYC in a few days to visit friends from college. They have twins two months younger than my “baby,” so I’m sure it will be a happening trip. I’m hoping we can sneak into the “Quilts: Masterworks from the American Folk Art Museum” exhibit. Doesn’t it look gorgeous, even if you aren’t into quilting? I will miss their big “Infinite Variety: Three Centuries of Red and White Quilts” by a few days. If you are in the area, it go see the exhibit for me, please.

Note: I just read that there is an Infinite Variety App that you can download that includes a guide for the exhibit. Pretty cool for those of us who can’t make it!
