Linen Zipper Pouches // Sewn

At Quilt Market, I received two fat quarters of Jennifer Paganelli’s Honey Child, and wanted to use them to make a pouch for a friend who loves JP. I met Jennifer briefly at market, and was so happy for the chance to thank her in person–last fall, she gave tons of fabric to her good friend Nancy  as part of a fabulous group charity quilting effort. The quilts were donated as part of 100 Quilts for Christmas.

Anyway, this is what I came up with. I lined the pouch with something I love–Erin McMorris‘ Go by Bike print. I hope my friend likes it.  I really want to make a quilt in this color scheme–perhaps as part of Elizabeth’s quilt along...

The pouch looks so fun. I wish I could go to the tent sale — I’m from NoVa and will be back in a couple weeks but not in time for the fun sale. Have a great time!
