100 quilts for kids, a photo by 2ndAveStudio on Flickr.
I wanted to share this awesome quilt by Rachel of 2ndAveStudio–it is destined to become part of 100 Quilts for Kids later this fall.
After seeing Rachel’s quilt, I thought it would be fun to post a picture of a 100 Quilts quilt I’m working on. After I finished Peacock Blue, I had a ton of odd sized scraps that I decided to make into a quick and easy coin quilt. I finished the top earlier this week, found a wild and crazy yard of fabric in my stash to use for a backing, and hope to quilt it in the next few weeks.
If you have anything you are working on, I’d love to see it posted in the flickr group progress shots, stacks of pretty fabric, the finished product, whatever you want!
Happy sewing (and grab a button!)

Oh No! I really like 2nd Ave Studios quilt for 100 quilts for kids. Looks like I have another quilt I will just have to make.
