KJR for the Summer Sampler Series // Color My Quilt

This is my very large stack of fabric for the Summer Sampler Series--it is from the Katie Jump Rope line by Denyse Schmidt. I have had most of these pieces for... a really long time. I used some in one of my favorite quilts, Community Gardens, and bits and pieces here and there. I'm excited to get started !I hope you have a relaxing holiday weekend. I think we plan to brave the crowds and ride our bikes downtown (with kids in tow) with friends to see the fireworks on Monday. Last time we experienced DC fireworks, there was a tornado warning and we ended up with 30,000 of our best friends inside the Natural History Museum for two hours... better luck this time, I hope!
