DC Modern’s Got Talent!

Have you ever admired something on flickr, only to realize that the fabulous person who made it lives nearby? And better yet, is in your quilt guild? I had that experience yesterday… here are a few recent projects from DC Modern Quilt Guild-ers. (Note: If you are a member, add your stuff to the pool!!!) ¬†Thanks to everyone who came–I enjoyed seeing projects, learning new tips, and really appreciated the fabric donations/charm pack cutting for 100 Quilts for Kids quilts!!! Can’t wait to see what you make!

Thanks for including my photo! I felt the same way :) It was super cool to realize that the women in the room where the ones that made THAT quilt that I have been drooling over on flickr.
