How did the quilt get it’s name? I finished piecing the top in the basement of an Old School DC Public Library. The quilt looked a bit like those crazy stacks of books. I love this quilt. It is destined for a child in need as part of the Trust do. Good Stitches Circle. Thank you, everyone, for your blocks. I love the quilting on this–I wanted to practice turning corners, and practice I did. Some of them are fabulous, some are terrible, most are okay. Can’t wait to see what it looks like when I wash and dry it!
The block was designed by Alissa Haight-Carlton as part of her Modern BOM with Sew Mama Sew. The tutorial is here.
