Spring Triangles // Finished Modern Quilt

Spring Candy detailSpring Flowers Diamond Pane QuiltingI think my favorite thing about this quilt is the quilting. Simple. Interesting. The charcoal + pink Pure Elements solid balances out the crazier front. I finished all but the binding on this quilt last summer. The triangles are Kona Ash + Hullabaloo by Urban Chiks–the perfect colors for a spring-y baby quilt.  Pre-cuts are still out there, I checked. Alas, finding some of the smaller flower prints (my favorite) is a little bit trickier. I am happy to have it finished and off to it’s new home. The colors remind me of the piles of Easter candy that are currently on my counter, that I must hide from my 2 year old, the original candy fiend. I spied some Pez in her mouth for our “take a few quick family pictures right before we head off to church because dad is home” pictures yesterday. Lovely.

It’s a gorgeous quilt ! I agree with you, the grey with the pink binding are perfect together !

Super cute, definitely a great spring-time finish! The pink binding is oh-so-perfect, and I really dig the quilting, too. You’re making me want to straight-line quilt something (and I normally hate doing straight-line quilting!). :)

Beautiful quilt! I love the dark grey back and the bright binding, well it’s not bright but against the grey it is.

I have wanted to make an equilateral quilt for so long. Does it come together pretty quickly?
