Shopping from your Fabric Stash // Color My Quilt

Fabric store

At what point do you just tell your friend, “Come over to my house. It’s better than a fabric store”? My friend Danelle and I are doing a quilt for photography swap, and its been a lot of fun to send pictures and texts and ideas flying back and forth. She picked a pattern and came over today to look at fabric… and our daughters tried to establish alpha female status. Awesome. I can’t wait to get started.

As for my WIP pile, not a lot of progress. BUT. My mom agreed to bind the Pocket Full of Sunshine quilt I’m making for my son if I get it done by the time she gets here (June). Sold!  And, I’ve worked hard not to let my current projects become long lost WIPs. I can live with that.

Beautiful stacks! I’m just hoping for some time with me sewing machine in general…much less worrying about long-lost WIPS. I can’t remember what I was working on last week! 😉

I like the red, black, and white fabric best.

Pretty stack!!! The ‘alpha female status’ is cracking me up… Totally can appreciated the long lost status of projects. :)

I can relate. I have actually told friends to come shopping at my house for fabric 😉 Great idea to swap quilting for photography.
