It’s week 5 of the 100 Quilts for Kids Blog Hop! These two quilters need no introduction, but I will say this: there are so many blogs one could read. I appreciate that Dana and Heather’s blogs both read as authentic–you can tell they are comfortable in their own skin and style.

Check out the beautiful strip-pieced quilt by Dana Bolyard of Old Red Barn Co. In addition to being a soap making, triathlon-shooting, expert gardening, quilter, Dana also hosts a very fun Old Red Barn Co quilt along group–you might have seen the Granny Squares Quilt Along?
Heather Jones blogs at Olive & Ollie, and shares an improv log cabin tutorial that would be perfect for a charity quilt. Or any quilt
. She is speaking at Quilt Con in the Spring, and I love her aesthetic. She finds inspiration in unique places, and I think our phones must be full of similar pictures–I’m always snapping “inspiration found” pictures, much to the laughter of my kids.
