There are 2 stops on the 100 Quilts for Kids Blog Hop today:
Miranda is an extremely talented seamstress (love that bow dress) who made her first quilt last year. Check out her Double Dog Dare quilt for 100 Quilts (and a fabric GIVEAWAY!) It’s fun to watch her sewing/letterpress/diy/cooking/wedding dress making/projects come to life, in person and on her blog. And it is thanks to Miranda that my blue front door was featured on Design Mom lately. Okay, okay, maybe her wreath was featured, but be impressed nonetheless.
Jeni writes one of everyone’s favorite blogs, In Color Order. She is teaching her popular class on color at Sewing Summit again, and has a newly announced fabric line (with Art Gallery Fabrics). Congrats, Jeni! I love seeing peeks into her world of thrifting, sewing, fabric dying, and hopefully now designing fabric on her blog. And thanks to both of you for joining in on the blog hop.
I have been sewing away this weekend with my mom. We have collaborated on a few 100 Quilts for Kids quilts, and hope to get them bound and photographed soon.
And finally, the winner of Angela Walter’s book is #18–
