Can you believe it is August 20? We are about halfway through the 100 Quilts drive, and there are still 2 more weeks of summer at our house. We are going to try to make the most of it! Elizabeth from Don’t Call Me Betsy and Melissa from Happy Quilting are today’s stops on the 100 Quilts for Kids Blog Hop. They both have great quilts to show you and tutorials to boot. Looking for a fun pattern? There you go!
Next month, the DC Modern Quilt Guild is using our Sewing Saturday to sew charity quilts. Consider asking your guild to plan a time to do the same (if you don’t already). If you haven’t joined a guild, you should check it out! If you aren’t up for a guild but you have a friend (or 5) who sew or are willing to learn, making a charity quilt would be a great excuse to get together.
