Modern Geese // Pattern
Have you seen the latest issue of Fat Quarterly? It's a fun one, called Sew Brittania. Issue 10 has a lot of fun patterns, and I'm happy to find the quilt I made for my niece in the mix. My sister-in-law and brother have great taste, and it's always a bit nerve wracking designing something for a designer. Know the feeling? They loved the quilt, I love my niece, win, win, win.
I used a variety of gray and taupe neutrals of different shades, some with cool undertones and some with warm undertones. Ruby Star by Melody Miller, Daiwabo Elephants, Kei Honeycomb, a solid, a Patty Young print, and a print from Echo by Lotta Jansdotter.
Straight line quilting + pebble quilting in a really pretty beige thread. Happy!
