*This is my Peacock Blue x2 quilt–it was made entirely of scraps from one of my favorite quilts*
The linky party for 100 Quilts for Kids ends on October 15, a week from today! If you are working on a quilt, you have plenty of time to finish it, donate it, and link up a picture of your quilt (from flickr, your blog, or another source). Don’t forget, the quilt can be made either explicitly as part of this effort, or as part of any of the other great charity drives out there–Margaret’s Hope Chest, Phoenix [Wildfire] Quilts, Bumble Beans Basics, do. Good Stitches, Siblings Together, and more!
100 Quilts for Kids Basics [more detailed info here]
- Make a quilt or 2. Donate it to a child in need, locally if you can.
- Spread the word to family and friends!
- Link up HERE throughout the summer to share your quilts and win one of a few great prizes! Link up will be open October 15, so you can easily add a quilt as you finish and donate it.
100 Quilts for Kids Flickr Group!
This is the last of my 100 Quilts for Kids quilts. It’s hard to see, but this is a random quilt back + cute wholecloth print on the other side. I practiced and practiced my free motion quilting on it in June, so it’s kind of crazy. I’m taking it with me to the Sewing Summit in Salt Lake City this week to bind, and will donate it there! More pictures to follow.
Please leave me a question if you have one… since I’ll be travelling, check back for an answer in the comments.
