New Beginnings

We spent New Years Eve and New Years Day in beautiful Herrington Manor, Maryland.  We stayed overnight in a rustic cabin (with electricity, so it wasn’t really that rustic) at the state park, and spent our time sledding, throwing snowballs, drinking hot chocolate, and cross country skiing with friends. The kids and I had never been cross country skiing, and I’m happy to say all three of us enjoyed it! There is something magical about being in a winter wonderland (especially if you have the right gear) that helps start out the New Year right! Happy New Year, friends.
