Series Launch: Try It Tuesday

Swim Bike Quilt

Have you ever stood in front of a well-stocked notions wall and thought, “What on earth is the difference between these 35 packs of needles” or “okay, which one of these things is actually going to help me?” It can be a little overwhelming, especially when you realize Checker Distributors has over 12,000 (!!!) notions for sale.

Try It Tuesday: Notions
[Notions wall at Capital Quilts, my LQS]

I plan to highlight some of my favorite tools, notions, and techniques, and will try some new things along the way. I hope this series provides helpful information, and that it will inspire you to try something new as well, either from the series or from that notions wall, whether it is at your local quilt shop or online.

From time to time, I will be receiving product from companies to test–I will disclose if this is the case.

If you have a specific product you think I should add to the list, please let me know!

I enjoy learning about new threads that are available for quilting and piecing. Maybe that would be a good topic for August.

I would like to know what is the best foundation piecing paper available?
