Flea Market Fancy Old + NewI woke up this morning with every muscle in my body hurting. Yep. I've started doing yoga again after a year long hiatus. Why do we wait so long sometimes to start/continue with things that we love and are good for us?Near the end of the practice, when we were working on shoulder stands, backbends, etc., the teacher gave a bit of a pep talk/soliloquy on finishing what we started, and finishing strong, instead of letting things languish and softly drift away. She was talking about our efforts in yoga and life. It was like she could see right into my bin of Projects in Progress. It is quite a large bin.So I'm dedicating today's blog post to Kathy. My one quilting goal this summer was/is to finish bed-sized quilts for each of us. I finished the Pocket Full of Sunshine Quilt for my son last summer. I have quilted my daughter's "I'm Not Little" Quilt [any ideas on a name?], which leads me to this one.WIP Wednesday: A Quilt for MeI started this quilt for our bed ages ago, even before the Flea Market Fancy reprint. This picture was taken in June, 2011. That is just pathetic. This is my next big project (once I finish binding that last quilt for my nephew! About 12 inches to go!)I can do it, right? You can do it, right? Finish those quilts and make yoga teachers everywhere proud :)P.S. If you want to see what else I have been working on (like a crazy lady), head over to Lee's at Freshly Pieced. She is showing a few pictures of our book. We finished the final review this week, and I think you are going to love it!
