Hiking with Kids at Sugarloaf Mountain // The Great Outdoors

We had to get one last hurrah in before school started this week. We spent Labor Day hiking and bouldering and laughing at Sugarloaf Mountain (which is more like a hill but fun nevertheless). We are lucky to have family that live an hour away–the kids had a great time with their cousins! A beautiful day, a beautiful view, and an early bedtime. Success.

I love Sugarloaf! It is not so far from the urban mess and yet it makes you feel that you are far, far away from it- unless you go in leaf peeper season! I also love that it is privately owned and yet freely open to the public. Hope that your kids have a great start to the school year!

We were driving on 270 and the GPS said Sugarloaf was close–I didn’t believe it! What a great spot! And thanks–hope your back to school goes smoothly as well.
