100 Quilts For Kids: 2013 Prize Winners

Thanks to everyone for donating a quilt, and thanks to the shop owners, pattern designers, and manufacturers for donating prizes. This is a fun part for me–it’s almost like Christmas!  (Check out all of the quilts at the linky party here)

I have sent emails to all of the winners. If you won something, you will find your name below (for example, #100, Tricia) with a link to your blog/flickr/etc.

And a friendly reminder–October is a busy time of year for the fabric and quilting industry–if you don’t hear from the person who donated the prize immediately, it’s probably because they are prepping for quilt market.

And now for the prizes!

Thank you, Katie. It was a great pleasure to participate in the charity quilt drive. Donating those quilts was a gift to myself in that I felt really good about doing it. I want to thank you, Katie, for thinking of others and encouraging us to give of ourselves. To win a prize was like icing on that sweet piece of cake. Thank you also to Christa of Christa Quilts for donating the prize that I was fortunate enough to win.

Thanks, Katie. You did a great job pulling all this together. I couldn’t believe I won something as I wasn’t even sure if I’d done what I needed to do, lol. Yes, I posted quilts but wasn’t sure about what else I should do.

But the best part is seeing all the wonderful quilts that have been made and donated.
