Today is Thanksgiving in the United States as well as Hanukkah–if you are celebrating either, I hope it’s a wonderful day.
One of my favorite things about this blog is it allows me to spend a significant amount of time reflecting on things that are beautiful in my life–the great outdoors, friendships I’ve made online, time with family, fabric, quilting, and people who go out of their way to be kind. Thank you for being a part of that.
This is my gratitude journal. Of course I bought it at Target, purveyor of many beautiful things I want and don’t need.
Last month, I wrote a post about happiness–I cited an article that talked about 12 things happy people do–number one is to express gratitude. There is so much that is hard and dark in the world–stopping to write down things I am grateful for helps put life in perspective. And, it helps when you get to use a pretty notebook (you can find it on Amazon–Gratitude: A Journal –affiliate link).
Oh. And I’m really excited about the Lime-Coconut Creme Pie my husband is making, too.
