A Snapshots Quilt Block // Sewn

SnapshotsQuiltBlock

A group of ladies in my neighborhood have a quilting group, and are making the Fat Quarter Shop Snapshots Quilt this year. My sister in law and I decided it might be fun to sew along with them. I think we are going to mix it up a bit (we might include some of Lori Holt’s blocks from her book Farm Girl Vintage), and might end up with several small projects instead of a quilt. We shall see!  The quilt patterns are very well written, and its been fun to sew together.

What are you working on this week? Can you believe its the last week in February??

You are so lucky to have a group in your neighborhood.
This is a great fun idea to do the blocks of this quilt, and others maybe too.
    Lori’s blocks are adorable.
    This first block is beautiful

I hope you don’t mind me asking the color/brand of paint on your sewing room floor? We are getting ready to paint our studio floor and I fell for that teal blue! Thank you!

I love my floor! It’s actually marmoleum, not paint. I highly recommend it–kind of an Eco-friendly linoleum. The deep teal makes me happy every time I walk in there.
