Make the Same Pattern Twice? // Super Star Quilt Pattern

super-star-quilt-in-blue.jpg

Have you ever made the same quilt pattern twice? Or more than 2 times? There is something fun about remaking a familiar quilt--you already have an idea of how the pattern goes, and you can use your mental energy to play with color, or quilting, or fabric.I love how playful the strips are here! Now I just need to baste and quilt and bind it. *just* ;)

This is my Super Star Quilt Pattern, and is available in two sizes—a wall or crib quilt at 36’’ x 36”, and the larger size, which is 65'' x 65''! Hard to tell that this is the larger size without something to show the scale. Most of the prints are various Cotton and Steel prints--isn't that Gingham just fun?

I bound this quilt in a navy blue—its hard to see the quilting, but this version was long armed. It is a diamond in diamond pattern, kind of an echo of the quilt itself.

Happy sewing!
