Mothering at Work // Sewing with Kids

I look forward to photographer Ellie Cox’s “Mothering at Work” series every Monday morning. Today it is my turn to talk about schedules and “balance” and working + creativity + kids. This picture is pretty accurate–if I’m in my studio and my kids are home, at least one of them is usually in and out, more often in. It would be more accurate if there was a little fabric on the floor, but we cleaned up for the photo 😉 I’ve gained a lot of insight from the interviews she has shared in the past–I hope you check it out!  [All of the photos and interviews can be found on Ellie’s Instagram–@elliecoxphoto– or by searching the hashtag #motheringatwork, also on Instagram]mothering at work
