Midland Star // Block #9 // Summer Sampler 2017

This is Midland Star, Block #9 of the Summer Sampler 2017. This is a fun one with a few basic techniques--hourglass blocks and diamond in a square piecing, along with triangles in the corner.

My 6'' version is a little different, and is meant to join 2 other 6'' blocks I have made as test blocks. It looks quite different like this [wild prints add to that, I think!]
