I loved making this quilt out of Carolyn Friedlander's new fabric, Gleaned. Thanks for sending me some, Robert Kaufman! I paired 2 Gleaned prints (Cantaloupe and Ash) with Moda Gray, Essex Dyed Homespun in Navy, and Essex Yarn Dyed in Metallic in Midnight.

leaned is almost impossible to photograph, so a big shout out to Ellie Cox for getting this shot. Isn't the light in her house dreamy?I wanted to add a lot of texture to the center star, so I just went for it.

I love the results, even if it is a bit wonky.
