This beginner-friendly sampler pattern features 9 different block designs and is a Choose Your Own Adventure Quilt—make the quilt as shown [2 options!] or create your own 13 block quilt. Note: Faith Jones, Lee Heinrich and I are not hosting the Summer Sampler this year. This quilt along will be run similarly to the Summer Sampler.

Quilt-along runs: June 6-September 12, 2021.
Block sizes: 12-1/2" x 12-1/2" (12" x 12" finished)
Skill level: Confident Beginner. We assume you have basic quilting knowledge such as general fabric cutting and pressing knowledge, the ability to sew a consistent 1/4" seam, and familiarity with the terminology used in quilt patterns.
Techniques used: Most of the blocks will be foundation paper pieced this year, with some options for traditional piecing techniques. If you have never paper-pieced before, our "Beginner's Guide to Paper-Piecing" is included with purchase. There is no appliqué or curved piecing in this sampler pattern.
