Cherry Blossoms // Favorite Things

The kids and I headed downtown after school yesterday to see the Cherry Blossoms. The Tidal Basin, Haines Point, and surrounding area are just magical right now, even if the festival ushers in the official start of the tourist season. We spent most of our time walking (and walking and walking), and didn't even make it to some of our favorite spots. I took a few quick pictures while the-one-who-likes-to-run-away was strapped in her stroller--I think they give you a taste of spring.Oh. And I had this sweet bundle in my trunk, full of Thomas Knauer's Pear Tree, Flock, a variety of solids (the Michael Miller Cotton Couture solids are incredible!) and of course some Lizzy House Pearl Bracelets. The perfect fabric bundle for a beautiful spring day.
