Hand Dyed Quilt Top // Works In Progress

We were lucky to have my mother-in-law visit for a few days, and we had to get in at least a little bit of sewing time! Thanks, Grandma Jane, for stitching up this quilt top for 100 Quilts for Kids. It was just like the good old days, and we were sad to see her go.

I'm so happy to see the fabrics I hand dyed during Malka Dubrawsky's wax resist workshop in Baltimore this summer actually get used--and isn't it a vibrant and fun quilt top? I'm glad we left the white solid out of the quilt, too.  These fabrics are too much fun on their own!
