Oakshott Fabrics // Favorite Things

Aren't these Oakshott Fabrics just beautiful? Oakshott is aUK company, and just sent me these pretty Italy fabrics, which are shot with gray and are also a bit shimmery.It is rare that I get new fabric and know *just* what I want to make with it, but this is one of those cases.   Lee has a pattern in our book, Vintage Quilt Revival, for a pillow that I think will look great on my couch this winter. One of the nice things about turning in our projects 12 months ago is that I am actually excited to make things from the book!

Speaking of the book, Lee, Faith and I are going to start introducing our projects on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays as a countdown to the book's release date of December 5.  I hope you enjoy our Meet the VQR Quilts series!P.S.
