Ain't Love Grand--Preschool Edition

The following is a glimpse into my morning carpool. It is nothing if not hilarious

Boy: Here is your Valentine, E. I printed your name in my very best handwriting.

Girl: Aw, thanks! (Pulls out googly-eyed heart and giggles, which apparently was the right reaction.)

Boy: Look! The sucker says "Happy Valentine's Day."

Girl (who can read): Uh, no it doesn't. It says, "Kiss me."

Silence.

Giggles.

Unison: Ewwww!

Boy: We don't do that.

Girl: Yeah, we don't kiss. Just pretend kiss.

Boy: Yeah. Just pretend.

Girl: Until we are 15. Then we can kiss.

Boy: Yeah!!!!

Oh dear... I hope you all feel the love today!
