Single Girl Quilt // Works in Progress

My single girl pillow may have to become a single girl wall hanging. The template pieces are huge! I cut out two complete sets today (one for me, one for my sister A) while my son sat and colored and chatted with me. I realize that that is not particularly typical behavior for a little one. I treasure those quiet times we have together while the babe sleeps. She woke up as I was cutting the last piece, which was pretty great timing on her part.


And not to worry, the zen we felt this afternoon was abruptly altered. I'll give you a few key words and let your imagination do the rest:

Me. Two kids. Saturday. Costco. 5:30. Eat first, shop later. I had really low expectations, which turns out, helped a lot. The gigantic jogging stroller that takes up 3/4 of my trunk? Not so much.
