Improv Scrap Piecing // Works in Progress

Today's edition of Work In Progress Wednesday is brought to you by Instagram, late night sewing, and the letter O(lympics). We are a bit obsessed with all three, lately.

I have been working on a number of more difficult projects lately--lots of persnickety points and seams to match. Last night I dug into my recent scraps (read: cut the pieces the wrong size) and did a bit of free piecing. I absolutely love this Essex yarn dye linen (color: flax). It's beautiful and easy to piece with. Win, win. Anyway, I think I'm going to make this into a pouch for my purse. I seem to have a lot of My Little Ponies and Petshops floating around in there as of late :)
