100 Days of Kona Color // Week 2
Its week 2 of my 100 Day Project--#100daysofkonacolor.
I'm so happy to have some of you joining in, and it isn't too late to catchup!
You can get coloring pages for these two half square triangle quilts here--they are free!
Whether you are sewing along or just want to make one on your own, its so much easier to play with color placement on paper!Basically, I cut up my Kona Color card and am using a 101 piece charm pack [dusty color way, available here], pairing it with 5'' squares of Essex linen in Denim.
I'm not sure if I'm using the top or bottom layout yet. I have to say, I'm surprised by how relaxing it is to just sew and trim 2 HST pairs a day. And it gets me into my sewing room for at least 5 minutes each day, and sometimes I even stay!I think this is the quilt layout I am using...I cleaned it up and recolored it and look how awesome it looks!happy sewing!
