Originally, I had just planned to make a solids version of the Observatory Block of the Month, but I couldn’t get a rainbow ombre version out of my head. So, I’m making two—one out of Kona Solids and one with V and Co Fairy Dust Fabrics.

I plan to use the different shades in a single half yard for each of my oversized star blocks.
I used the V and Co Fairy Frost Ombre, new from Moda, and purchased 12 Half Yards:

There are 32 colors of Fairy Dust—the selvage edges are dark, and then run to the lightest shade at the middle of the fabric.
