Week #10!

First block in the back 9, and it is a fun one.

Designed by Melissa Mortensen, of Polka Dot Chair, this block is reminiscent of a beautiful tile floor in the Vatican.  Melissa has a way of putting this block together that I've never tried before, and it worked like a charm.

So, my quick tip in the dog days of summer: Take classes.

Sew from patterns created by other people. Its incredible to see what you can learn, and what tips you can pick up along the way!
